I use 12-12-12 applied once a month, about a teaspoon per plant.  If you have 
decent soil, they really don't require much.  If you live in the south, make 
sure your plants are positioned to get some partial shade.  They have a large 
leaf area and transpire greatly.  This causes wilting under full hot sun that 
can result in leaf and blossom drop.  I also use a soil pH of 6.5.
