I'd recommend a Thai chile plant for the color as well as the heat and
typically, the bounty one gets.  Pretty durn prolific.  If you've room and
a long growing season, a hab plant would be nice; beautiful once they
ripen.  If not, sneak in a couple serrano plants.  Probably my favorite
"all purpose" chile plant.  Tie a red ribbon on it for color <g>....
