Sounds alittle like :
what we call  "Rau Ram" or "Vietmaese mint". I think is a better herb to
groe than corriander.
It has exactly the same flavour as corriander LEAF + a little heat
It is very easy to grow and is perrennial.
 I have not seen it seed-  probably needs awarmer climate but it is easy to
propagate by division or cuttings.
I think there is something on our web page about it under Asian herbs or
herbs that go with Chilli.
I would need to see a leaf of your plant to be sure
