Sales figures for salsas are based on dollar amounts, not volume of =
product consumed. If they were based on ounce per ounce consumed, =
ketchup outsells salsa by far. I myself just payed $1.38 for a 40 ounce =
bottle of ketchup. A similarly sized bottle of salsa would have cost me =
in the $4.50 range. So =3DMark, not only are you correct in your =
assessment of how ketchup is consumed much more sparingly per use than =
salsa is, but you have also helped to show that ketchup really outsells =
salsa by a huge margin when both volume and eating habits are factored =
in.
