[CH] Aphid solution

I use this in the "off" season when lady bugs (larve) are in hibernation

Get some lump  alum - it is used in pickling.
make a super-saturated solution by dissolving it in hot water.  2
tablespoons to 1 pint of water.

Cool -  add 2 tablespoon Dawn  dish detergent  and 2 tablespoons
Listerine.

spray on the aphids.   say goodbye.
