there are ways around your delima - afterall you don't need to sell the
powder (which is WONDERFUL on EVERYTHING I've tried it on) - you could
simply send the powder to people who ask you to and request they send
you x_amount of money to help defray the shipping costs. . .afterall,
shipping CAN get expensive, can't it. . . .?. . . B-)

	Subject: [CH] Powder and Comments

To Judith Stone and all CHs:

It has been my pleasure to be involved in the List, since my
favorite
hobby and pastime involve Chiles. The Taste-Test started out to
be just
that- a taste test, and has mushroomed to a life of its own,
complete
with strife, stress and legalities. Throughout the past two
weeks, I
have been involved in research about the spice trade, which
seems to be
different in law than canning or food preparation. I work with
a local
restaurant in preparation of the powder and their facilities are
approved. As yet I have no Tax ID number or occupational
license, and
Judith Stone is quite correct that all these things and more are
needed
before selling to the public. My mistake has been to proceed to
agree
to sell the powder when people asked for it, which is wrong.
Until
viewing her post, the concept never struck me in that fashion,
but there
is certainly no reason to flame her. To avoid further
embarrassment on
my part, I choose to stop allowing purchases of the powder. All
persons
who have sent orders may choose refunds or receive the powder.
Luckily,
there have been few sales but a lot of interest. Have patience
with me,
and I will get it on the market legally. It is best that I
proceed in
the proper channels. Thank you Judith, for waking me up, and my
sincere
	apologies to CHs.
While I'm on the box, thanks so much for all the
positive comments and
constructive criticism I have received the last couple of weeks.
I have
recorded all of them, and I think I can make a better product
with all
these in mind. I hope to stay on the List forever, as I feel
I've found
a home. I also hope none of you are too disappointed in my lack
of
	savvy. Thanks again.
