Arcelia's Restaurant is on Park Avenue at 18th and is highly recommended
for Mexican Food. "Comida Autentica" is what they say they are doing.
Whatever it is, they do it well.

Pueblo Nuevo is also very good on N. Lindbergh near I-270.

BTW it is El MAguey on Chippewa (Watson) at the city limits. My barber
likes this one, so he got a sack of random poblanos, New Mexicos and
habaneros in the fall and a little "Ecuador" rocoto from plants indoors
last week!

For something other than Mexican, one can go to South Grand Avenue (about
3000 S.) and walk among many oriental places. Try "The King and I" for
Thai food in memory of the Colonel. Come back another night to Pho Grande
or The Mekong for Vietnamese food.
