Kids,
I'm awaiting the first week of April and the second firey foods festival in
Madison, Indiana. I went last year, and it was my first visit with C-H
list members. I met Jim Campbell and tasted THE BREAD, picked up some
other foods, and some wine that Steve Thomas makes on the site. There were
many people, good conversations, even a band with a washtub bass. I
encourage members near the Cincinnati / Louisville area to come down and
visit.
Part two: Of those members who go, are there any other campers? Right
above Madison is Clifty Falls State Park, where 400-foot ravines run down
to the Ohio River from the bluffs. Nice waterfalls, nice trails, and if
it's a warm spring the redbuds just might be in bloom on the hills. It
would be a blast to have a few C-H campsites set up if enough people are
interested. I don't think the sites can be reserved, but at that time of
the year there should be several available.
BTW when my 1997 Indiana State Parks pass card expired, I stuck some
magnetic tape on the back of it and made it into a refrigerator magnet.
Too pretty to throw away.
About the potato spam - a friend mailed a printout of the same message,
which apparently arrived in her e-mail. The headers inserted by the server
at OSU warn the "from" and "to" headers are invalid, so I wonder what this
guy's methods are, and how far-reaching this spam really is.

"I'm sorry, ranger, I didn't realize the smoke from this grill
was causing respiratory problems in the campground."
