Hitting on two topics here:
I forgot two items in my enchilada sauce recipe. When making the roux,
add several garlic cloves, minced. Also add some oregano and cumin after
you cook the sauce. After posting the recipe, I had to have enchiladas
and realized that I had forgotten those items.

Science Fiction: We are both avid readers, Susie leans towards fantasy
science fiction and I lean towards "hard" science fiction. There are a
couple of other people who are sometimes on the chile-heads conference,
depending on how much time they have. Diane Duane and Peter Morwood, who
have authored several of the Star Trek novels (New York Times bestseller
list) along with a variety of other science fiction books. One series of
theirs is the "Space Cops" series, which had three books. The last one
portrays a szechuan restaurant on Mars, where the food is blazingly hot.
It's modeled after a favorite of theirs, which we can't remember the
name of. It's in Stillorgan, south of Dublin. We managed to get the
owner of the restaurant, David, to autograph the book in the section
that mentions him, and Diane and Peter autographed it as well. Peter
also made us a quick curry that just about blew our socks off.
