Just got back from the Fragrant Garden Chilli festival in Erina. Too tired
to write much about it, but I did meet up with some other listies, and
managed to cadge a taste of these wonderful products:


Calvin's powder: Oooh yeah! that's great stuff, Calvie boy. Can't wait to
buy some. One possible change might be to add some darker, maybe smoked
chile, like smoked habs or something. Lacked a little in the lower
registers. Not that there are ANY complaints as it is...

Dave's Total Insanity: 'Autumn leaves' has it, I think. The heat is
wonderful, though. A little hotter than fresh hab membrane... fun!

Big Jim's apple smoked habs. Oh wow. What an amazing depth of flavour! Just
incredible! I'll have to get some more direct. Just as soon as the aussie
dollar rallies a bit, methinks. Hmmm... this could be just the thing to cut
Calvin's with, or is that thought too heretical?
