[CH] Problems with soap-water bug spray

Could somebody go into a little more detail about the soap/water bug
spray? I tried the spray on my plants and am now looking at the sorriest
bunch of wilted vegetation I've ever seen. It looks like I'll lose about
50 Thai Dragons, Jalapeno etc.

I'm guessing the concentration that was given was for a hose fed garden
sprayer and not the pump bottle sprayer I used.

I tried to wash the soap from the leaves but all I can really do is hope
the plants are strong enough to grow new leaves after the current mess
falls off.
