Aloha All, I can attest to the fact that tobacco on ones hands will make orchid blooms fall off of the plants. I smoked a cigarette and went out and handled some blooms. The next day the blooms had fallen off the plant+ACE- My wife won't let me into the garden now until I wash my hands. She was irate+ACE- Hot tongue and cold shoulder for a week after that. LaVerne R.
