I appreciate the discussion on spam email sent to the list, but it's better to
send it to me -- discussion about spam is only slightly better than the spam
email itself!
The most recent spam email (Sorry for the delay) specifically violates
www.freeyellow.com's terms of service and the poster will have his account
terminated (see http://www.freeyellow.com/faq/tos.html if you're interested).
Believe me, I and others are actively persuing methods to prevent spam on this
list. If you want to help, rather than posting to the list, make a complaint
to the web site owner, the postmaster at any email address or otherwise take
advantage of the spammer. One recent one had an 800 number that went to voice
mail -- you get the idea, but be polite (and maybe wordy). Remember, repeated
harassment of these folks is also illegal. Sending email to the sender is not
usually a good idea, or effective.
