This is not a good thing to do for several reasons. 

First, it's illegal and you can be prosecuted both criminally and civilly for
damages.

Second, with 800/888 numbers the owner of the number can get a record of all
calls to their number. This is not caller-id. They get your number even if it's
blocked or unlisted. 

Third, by doing this you are taking action that is no more defensible than
theirs.
