I use 'em, as needed, as directed. Results that make the neighbors jealous.
Miracle Gro: At transplanting, once every three weeks through the middle of
June (approx. the time when fruit starts to set), then just water to avoid
excess N.
Sevin: When damage is evident, and with a VERY light hand.
K-Mart brand slug bait: All around the garden but not in it (raised bed).
Also around back patio, as the nasty things tend to try to ooze their way
inside the house. Didja ever step on one of those in your kitchen with bare
feet? WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!
