You noted that Jerry Baker has a lot of crazy idea's

Yes I agree when you first read them they sound foolish, but if you really
stop to think about some of them, you might have second thoughts.

He recommends human urine as a deer repellent. Sounds stupid at first.
Ask any Deer hunter that does whats known as stand hunting, how far away
from his stand does he go to go ? Why? The scent of human urine to a deer
means predator and they can smell futher away than you can see. They
get out of the territory as fast as posible.

So why not use some human urine around the borders of your garden
or land ? The effect is the same. Why spend all that money on
coyote or wolf urine when human urine is free and everyone discharges
some everyday. If you need a little extra, a little beer will help.

Another example is his veggie feeding formula
1 can of beer
1 cup of Ammonia
1 oz dishsoap
3 tbsp instant tea.

If you ever applied this in the morning and take a look at the difference
in your plants at night. you would be amazed.

But if you break down each chemical item. you will find the identical
items listed on the side panel of MiricAl grow. Except for the dishsoap
which is just acting as spreader slicker.

2 rules I have
1. Don't knock till youv'e tried it
2. If it works, use it; if it don't, try something else.

I am also going to leave you with 2 other thoughts from MA Kodak

Keep It Simple Stupid

On the last page on the bottom line of film instruction sheets
for professional Cameras

"This is a suggested starting point only, you may have to modify to
suit your own personal needs"

I think these statements also hold true for gardening
