Does anyone know if it is necessary to dry fresh seeds in order for them to germinate? I've got some fresh rocotos, and I'd like to try sowing some seeds from them. I can dry the seed if I need to, but why bother if it's not necessary I'm assuming that drying seed is only required to when preserving seed for storage. Mike Benson
