Doug,

I have been using Mac's since '85. The only good recipe software I have
found is MasterCook (currently using deluxe version 3.x). It can import
several Mac and PC formats so you don't have to do a lot of
typing/re-formatting. There is over 100,000 recipes available on the net in
MasterCook format. You can also Import the thousands of Meal Master recipes
too. Meal Master does not have a Mac version, but the PC version is now
free. It is a good program from what I have heard, so there will be no
shortage of recipes in this format.

Talked with Gary Howard a few weeks ago about the benefits of upgrading to
the newer version, (no up-grade discount for prior users, have to pay full
price!- about $45) and he advised that there will be yet another newer
version coming very soon, so maybe good to put off a purchas just now. The
current version of MasterCook is version 4.x. You can also get a free
evaluation copy of MasterCook here: http://www/sierra.com
