[CH] Devil Curry ??

SBS television here in Oz ( An Ethnic TV station ) had a food show on 
from Singapore hosted by a presenter called Margaret Chan.
Of interest was a dish called Devils Curry served after a Christening
by a member of a family . 
Interesting choice of name though.!
Basically It was about 1 qt purreed onions . " 1 SOUP PLATE OF PURREED 
CHILES " . 1 cup fish stock . 1 qt water 4 potatoes . 4 carrots .1/2  
cabbage chopped . Green Beans . (1 chicken, sectioned and 1 lb wings 
deep fried) , cooked in a 10 qt pot for 1-2 hrs in oil and served cold 
?? 
Any body have a Genuine recipe for this ???  
I think this program was an Infomercial for Singapore Tourism as there 
were other meals featured and a running commentarey on the Foods of 
Singapore .... 
SBS TV is Semi Govt funded and pulls some advertising budget.....( 
Originally had no advertising at all- but it was 100% Govt funded then..
