According to Otho Wells, a plant researcher at UNH, a red reflective mulch makes a plant think it has competition and makes it grow bigger. Fruit Load & ripening ? supposidly increases yeilds. Hopefully I can find out more when I attend his seminar on Feb 5. Will pass on essence. Byron
