Beets.  Now *there's* an idea that had never even occurred to me...every
time I made up my own habbie sauces I used either carrots (for standard
vinegary hot sauce) or mangoes (for mustard-base Barbados sauce.)  That 
sounds really good; gonna have to give it a try next fall.  Thanks for
passing that along.
