Greenhouse-

I don't have one of those yet.  Besides, as I've mentioned before,
starting the plants is WAY too critical a job to do myself.  I have a
professional greenhouse operation do these for me.  I hand them a bag of
seeds & a very large check, 3 months later they hand me hundreds of
trays (300 at 50 plants per tray) of uniform 6" tall chiles.  They take
up about 800 sq ft of floor space.  I don't have that much sunny space
in my living room.  I think my wife would also object....

Plastic-

That is laid by my landlord as part of the even bigger check that I hand
him :-)  It is laid with a drag-behind unit.  The plastic is 48" wide
with 6" buried on each side.  It is a truly ugly sight when part doesn't
get buried and a good wind comes along!

My one BIG year that nearly put me out of business, we laid almost 5
MILES of plastic mulching.
