I've got a tip that has eliminated damp off since I started using it 10
years ago. I make a chamomile tea solution (5 tea bags soaked overnite in
boiling water, then topped off with plain water to make 1/2 gallon), which
acts like a natural fungicide. In every watering I use approx. 10% of this
solution , from initial seed sowing to the 2nd set of true leaves, when I
then switch to a dilute solution of Fish Emulsion. In every watering is
also a Tablespoon or so of a dilute solution of Seaweed Extract (not too
much, a little goes a long way) which is high in Potassium and promotes
good root growth and tolerances to plant stresses.
