Reading a lot on seed starting, I'm at the point to start some too, to have
nice baby plants when the outside themp. are getting better and they can go
out to play together with my cayenne plant who survived the winter in my
office at home.

What I was wondering, has anybody tried to start seeds using cotton wool?
I had always very good results with seeds for herbs, you can spread the
seeds on the wool which you can put in 'Tupperware boxes', wet it (only
once) and cover it with plastic foil and pinch a few holes in it. (put it
about 3-5 cm above "soil").
After sprouting you can just take the wool apart and plant them, including
the wool.
The big advantage is that cotton wool is quit sterile so you will never have
much problems with insects and/or fungus.

I'm very interesting if any of you has tried this with pepper seed's, anyhow
I will do so...

Hot regards
