Red chile powder is often included in chicken feed to give deeper coloration to the yolks, and that does work as advertised. But neither eggs nor meat pick up any chile heat. I think I recall from my time on the farm long ago that the chicken (skin) doesn't pick up any significant coloration from chile feed additive, though, only the yolks. --- Brent
