[CH] Strange heat sensors for different chiles

G'day All,
I was wondering if any of you had a similar affliction to me. I for
one cannot really enjoy a prime jalapeno because the heat just kills
me. It is just a real yuck type of heat sensation for me. AND yet, I
really , really get into a beautiful hab burn ( oh baby ), and don't
even get me started on Thai chiles ( tasty Tasty tasty). Does anyone
else experience a peculiar cross species/variety difference in heat
which seems odd.
