For the gardening CHers, I love chiles, but am not much of a gardener. I have just learned that "Thai birds" are perennials, and perhaps perennials might be easier for me to manage. Is this so? (I'm in Eastern MD.) If so, what other HOT chiles are also perennials? (I assumed that habs are annuals -- am I mistaken?) The idea of having my own fresh chiles is very motivating.
