Back in 1970 the Chicago Tribune's noted film critic
Gene
Siskel came up with the idea of challenging his
readers to
beat his Oscar predictions and win a cash prize. Gene
wrote
special reviews for each of his choices and took great

pleasure in his 80% accuracy rate. This year the
Tribune is
presenting the contest one more time as a tribute to
Siskel
who passed away earlier this year. If you think you
can beat
the Tribune editors surf by the site and enter your
predictions for a chance to win.
First prize is $2,000.
Second prize is $1,000.
Third prize is $500.
