[CH] OT: Email tip

For those fortunate enough to have direct or inexpensive access to the
web, and can't afford the regular interruption of list messages for
whatever reason, there is a very good alternative to the digest mode:
get one of those ubiquitous free email addresses and subscribe with
it.

With filters, you can order the mail from several lists into boxes on
one account, as well as weed out in advance the topics (or people?)
you just can't handle. You can read messages individually: either
select the ones you want or select all, deselect the ones you want,
and delete selected. Your home/work mailbox stays uncluttered for
"business," and you can pop over to yahoo, bigfoot, hotmail,
angelfire, rocketmail, etc. whenever you need a break.

This also can eliminate the "embedded html" problem so annoying with
the digest, since most accounts can handle it in individual messages.

Anyway, to make this somewhat relevant, if you're near San Antonio and
want a petine (piquin) plant, Rainbow Nursery on Bandera Road is
selling seedlings for the first time I've ever seen.
