Sorry, I may be dense, but I still don't see what that has to do with
it. Can't most of us usually spot a basically good recipe (please,
folks, spare an old English major's feelings--recipe, not receipe,
recipie or recepie!:)) by sight, and tinker enough to fix it
if it isn't perfect? I think most of us can, and I know very few
people who personally test every recipe they post in cooking areas.
They can't all afford to, for one thing. :) And if they did, there'd
be lots fewer good recipes traded on the 'Net.

As for there being other sites to go to for recipes, as some have
pointed out: sure, but why should that matter? We're on this list
because we like a specific ingredient and want to know how to use it.
Why should we *have* to go elsewhere?
