The largest yields I have seen were last year from Elder Jim's chile
patch. He had red habaneros and red savina plants so loaded with peppers
that you could fill multiple 5 gallon buckets without moving to far at
all. But 220 lbs from a single plant??? I don't know about that. At the
best, using my less than perfect gardening techniques I can get 50-100
peppers from a plant here in zone 6.
