Hi Daniel,

Welcome to the list. Your hab seeds might germinate if you soak them in
water overnight, and then sow them in (sterilised?) seedling starting
compost if you can get it. If not, just use fine garden topsoil. They
should be covered by about 2-3mm of soil and kept moist. A mister is useful
for this. While they are germinating you should try to keep them warm - say
30degC. This species typically takes a long time to germinate, but if you
can't grow the plants in the Medellín, there's not much hope for the rest
of us!
