Well, it's been a while since my last biology class, so correct me
if I'm
wrong, but:
1 calorie = energy to raise the temp of 1 cc of water 1 degree
1 kcal = 1000 calories
3500 kcal = 3,500,000 calories (3.5 million cals)
For an "average" person's 2000 cals/day intake, that is energy
sufficient
to last 1750 days, or 4.7945 years.
Truly, an active lifestyle.
