[CH] question of age

You aren't jumping the gun. Your boys will let you know what they want.
By way of illustration, My sister visited with her daughter some years
back. Bethany was less than a year old, still nursing and in the crawling
stage. She crawled into the garden and picked herself a beautiful red
cayenne, crawled out and began munching. Faye took it away saying "No, too
hot". Bethany began screaming and crying until Faye gave her the pepper
back, saying "You'll have to learn your lesson the hard way". Bethany
stopped crying and ate the whole pepper, and still likes hot chiles today
(she's going on 17). BTW, nothing unusual in her diapers that day either.

Bottom line, if the boys want it, let them have it. If they don't want it,
don't force it.

El Grande's Blessings on your family,
Frank
