[CH] African chiles?

Hi CH fellows,
A time ago I’ve got a bag of coarsely ground peppers from Sudan (Africa).
But according to lab tests I was recommended not to eat it beacause of some
microorganisms presence. But I was sorry to throw it to garbage. Therefore I
took a pincette and withdraw the whole seeds.
They germinated well. Now, after a half year they are bush-shaped ones,
about 1 to 1,5 feet high and carrying many many flowers and fruits about 2,5
inch long. I didn’t try the hottness yet.
Anybody knows this species from Africa? Lurking for reply on CH list or at
