I just received my first CH Digest in quite a while and it is great to be back!

Having been off the list for a few months it's comforting see a lot of the
same names still keeping the faith.  It's good to see Brother Jim is still
spreading the 'Gospel' in his own inimitable way.

Because of health situations with myself and my Sainted Wife I was unable
to start the number of varieties this year I had planned.  Instead I had to
 rely on the kindness of Wal-Mart and, believe it or not, Thrifty/Rite-Aid
for seedlings.  I do have a modest assortment in the ground now despite the
unseasonally cold weather this spring in Lompoc.  My lone survivor from
this last winter's freeze, a Dedo de Moça (thanks, Brent) is starting to
show renewed vigor.

Anyway, I just had to make some noise in case anyone missed me.  It's great
to be back.
