Hi all:
found this in a New Idea (Aussie Womens magazine), No I don't
read them, I just look at the pictures..

Its a spray for aphids, thrips and passionfruit hoppers..
best used fresh..
750ml vinegar
8 dried chiles
1 tablespoon freshly ground pepper
..............
no instructions offered on how to make it, but I would imagine that one
would have to steep the Chiles overnight..
I personally haven't tried this (though I might on my Lime tree which
has a Infestation of aphids)..I just thought the vinegar was an
interesting choice of medium..

Modified Recipe
I make quite a bit of that Belizian Habanero style sauce, Like Sontava
brand..and it caught my eye the other day when someone used prunes in a
recipe so I played around a bit and came up with this..

Made some Sontava sytle sauce and added 4 Chipotles soaked in 1/4 cup of
water, a small knob of finely chopped ginger and a cup of prunes. I have
to admit this was a bitch to blend and as I wasen't sure of the PH or
keeping qualities I added some 60% moonshine that I was given..
(probably because it had too much Ethanol in it)

Anyway the mixture came out looking like Daves Insanity sauce colour and
texture wise, Taste was quite good, Hot, smokey and Sweet..
