I had the pleasure of meeting Stuart McAllister (whose business card
describes him as "Chief Hot-Head!") at the recent Ethnic Foods trade
show in Birmingham (England, that is). Nice bloke. I tried some of
their sauces but, as I was mainly there for the Indian food stands,
forgot to write down which sauces I'd tasted. 2 were especially nice
even if I can't remember their names.
There was a fabulous tasting sauce made with serranos and a wickedly
hot one made with "Congo" peppers. The latter fooled me a bit. I was
all right at first but as I was walking away from the Hot-Headz stand
it crept up on me and I couldn't speak for about 2 minutes!!. I'll have
to call Stuart and ask what they were.
