I have used a spray made up of 1 qt. warm water, 1 tbls cayenne powder, 2
tbls garlic powder and about 6 drops of dish soap (not the antibacterial
kind just Dove or something) shake it well and let it sit for a half hour
or so, strain it into a spray bottle and soak down the leaves,
concentrating on the bottom of the leaves. I hold the sprayer in one hand
and, starting at the bottom, gently run my hand upwards through the leaves,
exposing the bottom side of the leaves and spray away. Be careful not to
spray towards your face. If you breath the mist it could take your breathe
momentarily not to mention how cayenne feels in one's eyes. Do it in the
evening or when the plants won't be in direct sun for several hours. One
nice side effect is your garden will smell like garlic for a couple of
days. Good luck!

In Chiles,

Doug
