Andy Paysinger and all,

Here in Kentucky, nicotine causes all sorts of problems. Tobacco workers
have to be especially careful when the plant is "topped" (the flower cut
off) and cut (harvested). Extended contact with wet tobacco leaves has
caused nicotine poisoning. Like you say, a nasty chemical.
