It's about halfway through the SoCal Hotluck. Susie & I are playing
tag-team with the store today, she worked the first half of the schedule
and I'm picking up the second half so she can enjoy the party too! The
Twister board is out on the floor, but nobody's tried it yet (still
early!), the food is hot, the beer (TWO kinds of homebrew!) is great,
the company is even better! Rich McCormack brought a chipotle beer that
is really good! The Red Savina Ale is going over pretty well, although I
think it's hotter than necessary. I'll have to cut back on the habanero
flakes next time... We have visitors from New Zealand who made Jalapeno
Ice Cream (I'l try it when I get back, in about 2 hours, 16 minutes and
20 seconds, but who's counting).
Jim Campbell: The Bread, as usual, is a big hit, but this batch is WAY
to hot! I tried to send some to New Zealand, but there were some import
laws in the way... More later when the parties over! We hope to post
photo's on the web page soon.
