[CH] big gross green worm

A fairly benign method would be to use BT, in powder or solution.  It
causes intestinal distress to the worms and they die.  It reportedly does
not harm humans.

If you are chemically inclined :-( there are many options in your garden
store, something recommended for cabbage and tomato worms will work.
