I noticed this weekend that the Albertson's supermarket near me in southern California has them at (ready for this?) $7.99/pound. Of course they also had the peppers themselves under the Serrano sign, had the Anaheims & the Poblanos switched, etc., etc. With my luck, the cashier would be a chile-head and know the difference.
