Thanks brother Rael for the great looking gumbo recipe. I've been 
looking for a good one for some time now. I am definitely going to 
try Rael's if I can sort out one thing.

All the recipes I've seen call for *file powder*. Now that's a new
one on this poor Brit. I've never seen it in the shops over here so
can I make my own?

Anyone got a recipe please? Does it have 1000 variations or is there
a fixed set of ingredients? 

For all I know file powder doesn't have chiles in it so I may be off
topic but I've got to try that recipe. Thanks if you can help.
