The fantastically named "Chili Club" on Lockhart Road in Wanchai is well
worth a visit. It is a Thai place and the rare beef entree (or appetiser
for y'all Stateside) is outstanding. Go at night time - the neon display
in Wanchai is awesome. The Indian Curry Club in Lan Kwai Fong is
recommended also. Cheap, don't be put off by the elevator or the
surroundings. Kuhblais (spelling ?) is also worth a go. Here you chose
your food, and whatever chili sauce you want to go with it, hand it over
and they cook it in front of you. Think this is a chain so there should
be one close to wherever you are.
Hong Kong is an eating paradise, you shouldn't have an difficulty
finding good cheap places to eat and almost always the quality is
excellent.
