Mine got pretty dormant during Dec-Feb, but then started waking up again. I
have used a q-tip on them, pretending to be a bee, and had a few peppers in
the winter/very early spring. Mostly it just sits there like a giant
houseplant and starts blooming like crazy in March. This spring, by the
time I put it out, it was covered in peppers.
