[CH] Can you wash off GMO produced BT?

Finally, someone brought up a point that has been bothering me about these 
BT expressing genes. With conventionally applied pesticides, I can wash a 
significant amount of them off with a good vegetable brush and a mild 
detergent, but what happens when each and every cell of the plant produces 
(and holds) these pesticides? I would suspect that the amount of BT is 
still small, but significantly more than what would be consumed following 
reasonable washing techniques.
