Maybe this will help? Never let it be said that I don't help out my fellow
'Heads, even if they are totally deluded and have nada taste buds...

"Garlic Festival Bell Pepper and Steak Sandwiches"

8 bell peppers, seeded and sliced in quarters (GAG!!! BARF!!!)
(For those of us with discerning tastes, sub with sweet banannas or Gypsys...)

1 medium-sized onion, chopped
2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Olive Oil
3/4 lb top sirloin steak, barbecued or broiled to desired degree of doneness
8 French rolls, halved and basted wth garlic butter
Garlic Butter

*Garlic Butter*

1/2 cup butter
2-5 cloves fresh garlic, pressed or finely minced

Cream butter. Add garlic and beat until fluffy. Mkes 1/2 cup.

In skillet saute peppers, onion, garlic and salt and pepper in olive oil until
tender. Brush rolls with garlic butter and heat in the oven or toast lightly
under the broiler or over the barbecue. Slice steak thin and place on bottom
half of roll. Top with pepper-garlic mixture and other half of roll. Makes 8
sandwiches.
