Rob, you're right about the seasonality. yellow mangoes have appeared here in Vancouver of late. they're selling at 99 cents each. nice & ripe every one, darn it. i prefer these when they're still green & hard. peel, slice the flesh (like carrot sticks) & anoint liberally with lime juice & salt. a Costa Rican street vendor's treat !! regards peter g
