You have just begun to scratch the tip of the iceberg. I live in
Oklahoma now, & I hate taking down my Christmas lights just as much as I
hate putting them up. (Why take down if you are only going to put them up
again.)
51. When you tell people from out of state you are from NEW Mexico you
discover they can't hear the word "NEW", or don't know what it means.
Then you have to explain what part of Mexico you DON'T live in.
Repeatedly.
52. When You tell people you are from Las Vegas, not only can't they hear
"NEW", they can't even hear "MEXICO."
53. When you visit Las Vegas, you recognize every building in "Calumet,
Colorado" in the movie "RED DAWN".
54. You want to watch the movie "EASY RIDER" to see if you were in the
crowd on the Las Vegas Plaza in the parade scene. (When they filmed it
you weren't even old enough to go see it.)
